But TODAY I have been THINKING.

I was THINKING about F.A.N.S.
If only ‘they’ KNEW what they are to the CLUBS or PEOPLE that ‘they’ LOVE and SUPPORT.
Let’s DEFINE the WORD FAN as it is COMMON-PLACED:

This is the current DEFINITION from The Cambridge Dictionary.
I THOUGHT that those ‘guys’ KNEW what they were TALKING about?
Maybe they are HIDING SOMETHING, FROM US?

I have a DIFFERENT MEANING for FAN.
IN FACT, (to me), F.A.N. is actually an ABBREVIATION.
I will ATTEMPT to EXPLAIN.
‘They’ say that FAN‘S are PERSONS who SUPPORT. PERSONS WHO are VERY MUCH INTERESTED, PERSONS WHO SPEND LOTS OF TIME WATCHING, READING, SPENDING, about/on an ARTIST, ENTERTAINER, TEAM, etc.
HOWEVER, I AS USUAL, BEG TO DIFFER IN PERSPECTIVE AND VIEWPOINT.
YOU SEE.
A FAN or a FANATIC, an AFICIONADO or ENTHUSIAST is a PERSON who EXHIBITS a STRONG INTEREST or ADMIRATION for a PERSON, PLACE, or THING.
But to the ‘ENTITIES’ that they FOLLOW and SUPPORT ‘they’ are MOST OFTEN REGARDED as little other than a F.A.N.
We will get into this some more.
Fans tend to CONTRIBUTE by WAY of TICKET SALES, MERCHANDISE, etc.
They tend to BRING IN REVENUE.
They are MOST OFTEN the LIFEBLOOD of a CLUB or a CRITICAL FACTOR BEHIND a STAR’S SUCCESS.
SADLY, FROM A BIGGER PERSPECTIVE, LOOKING DOWN.
F.A.N.S.are considered SIMPLY nothing but a FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING NUMBER, that is it.
Google will DENY THIS but I FEEL that it is TRUE.
A FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING NUMBER IS WHAT YOU ARE.
YOU ARE A DATA-SET.
A NUMBER.
An ASSET, LIABILITY, REVENUE, or EXPENSE.
‘They’ are NOT REALLY INTERESTED in YOUR LOVE and E-MOTIONS.
It is a MATTER of HOW CRITICAL YOU ARE to ‘their’ SUCCESS WHICH REALLY COUNTS.
