HELP THEM TO BREAK FREE FROM WHATEVER IS PLAGUING OR BOTTLENECKING THEM.

Conduct surveys, engage with book clubs, or online forums, also analyse bestsellers in your genre to gain insights into what resonates with your target audience.

Once you have a clear picture of who your readers are, TAILOR, YOUR WRITING, services, etc., to meet their expectations.

’SPEAK’ directly to their interests, fears, and desires.

Craft characters and stories that they can relate to on a personal level.

By KNOWING your audience, you LAY THE FOUNDATION for a SUCCESSFUL WRITING CAREER that RESONATES with READERS WORLDWIDE.

It is crucial to re-member that success as an author isn’t about vying for clicks, likes, or popularity, nor is it about chasing bestseller status or focusing solely on marketing and sales.

OUR FRIEND.

OUR FAMILY.

 

However, the advice we give MAY SOUND HARSH but it is more often BETTER to ‘let them hang themselves with their own mistakes’ only offering help when ‘the things’ are dire.

This approach aligns with the notion that SUCESS in PUBLISHING is about BUILDING RELATION-SHIPS, HELPING PEOPLE, and ATTRACTING THE ‘RIGHT’ CLIENTELE.

It’s about finding problems to solve rather than pushing solutions onto unwilling audiences.

Just as in marketing, where the focus should be on finding a problem and solving it, rather than starting with a solution and searching for a problem to fit it.

By PRIORITISING, CONNECTION, and ASSISTANCE, you CREATE a LOYAL READERSHIP/CUSTOMER base that will SUPPORT YOU, THROUGHOUT YOUR WRITING JOURNEY.

This approach mirrors the fundamental principle in marketing:

Find a problem and solve it.

 

It is about INNER-STANDING and OVER-standing THE NEEDS and DESIRES of YOUR AUDIENCE, PROVIDING ‘THEM’ WITH SOLUTIONS that ADDRESS ‘THEIR’ ‘PAIN POINTS.’

By adopting this MIND-SET, you’ll not only attract the ‘right’ readers/custom but also build a strong foundation for long-term success as an author.
